Living in Birmingham

It wasn't very easy for me to get used to living in Europe, but now I'm quite happy to be here. If only I could find a job. I've been trying for several months - on and off - but I didn't find a job. Sometimes I can do a little bit of work with friends of mine, but that isn't enough to provide for my living.
Anyway, I'm sure things will improve.

Nice that you are visiting my blog. I'm from a small town in Shanxi province in China. In November 2006 I came to the UK and now live in Birmingham.
I have started studying English. I hope that I will soon speak well enough to get a good job, bacause I want to help my family and other poor people in China. Many old people, when they are sick, don't have the money to go to a doctor and find medical treatment.
As you know, China is a huge country with many problems. Some of the big cities are very modern and rich, but many people in the country side are very poor and don't have the money to send their children to school. When I was a boy, I sometimes went to school without eating. When I was 17, I left my village and moved to big cities to earn my living. That was never, but I have learnt a lot.
